At Recycle4Change (R4C), we’re not just a charity; we’re a beacon of hope, a force for change, and a guardian of our planet. We operate the Victorian State Government’s Container Deposit Scheme, and our mission extends far beyond recycling.

We are a proud subsidiary of the Chance Creators Group, a registered charity and certified social enterprise.

What is R4C?

We are a catalyst for change. R4C is a certified Social Enterprise and a registered Charity, committed to making a difference on multiple fronts.

Environmental Impact​

Our planet is crying out for help, and we aim to answer that call. By 2028, we aim to recycle close to 200 million drinking containers, cutting local pollution in half, diverting 10,000 tonnes from landfill, conserving water, energy, and drastically reducing carbon emissions.

Community Benefit

Together, we thrive. R4C will facilitate payments of $20 million into the local community over the next 5 years, including support for the disadvantaged and underserved. We empower schools and community groups to fundraise, creating opportunities for everyone.

Social Purpose

We believe in second chances. R4C offers employment and support to individuals with lived experience of the justice system. By doing so, we not only reduce reoffending but also create a safer, more inclusive society.
A GREENER STATE​

What is the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme?

Turning waste into wealth, one bottle at a time. Starting in November 2023, Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic) will reward you with a 10-cent refund for every eligible can, carton, and bottle you return. It’s a transformational step towards a cleaner, greener state with fewer waste and litter issues.
Strengthening Communities

Everyone deserves a chance to shine. R4C offers employment pathways and training programs for those impacted by the justice system, young adults, struggling job seekers, and mothers seeking to return to work. We believe in rebuilding lives and strengthening communities.
